Synopsis
This play is a lively, comic whodunnit full of humour and suspense. Two murders - one a barmaid and the other a hotel guest - shatter the tranquility of a small sea-side town. Suspects quickly become entwined in a maze of suspicion and accusation. Ann Clements, a hotel receptionist about to be married, is deeply shocked when Inspector Fitch discovers that the bride’s ’something borrowed’ is a vital murder clue threatening to ruin the couple’s happy wedding day. Ann’s new husband Don comes under sharp suspicion. Ralph Wittaker, a wealthy businessman has been involved with one of the murdered women and when it is revealed that she was his mistress he becomes number one suspect. Complications continue when Ralph discovers that his wife, Sandra, has posed in the nude, for a young local artist, Andrew Bucknell. More secret relationships are exposed, and the play’s many twists and turns keep you laughing and guessing until the end 7F 5M. "Sharp one liners. Very good entertainment." Suffolk Free Press.
