Synopsis
Grippen Snatchett plans to evict Dame Trot and her family from her dairy farm, and only the sale of Daisy, her last remaining cow, can save her. Given the task of selling Daisy, Jack believes he’s made a terrific deal, only to end up with a bag of beans. The chances of him landing up with Snatchett’s daughter Sally seem very slim. But when the Trot family wake up to find a giant beanstalk in their kitchen, things are literally looking up! At the top of the beanstalk they discover Grumbledore’s kingdom in the clouds, his servant Sidney Banewort and Daisy. Escaping from the giant with his treasures, the family come back to earth with a bump, whilst Grumbledore does so with a bang!
A cast of 8 principals is assisted by a chorus playing villagers, Cloud Kingdom servants and the magic harp’s voice, (off stage).
