Buy Online Cast Summary Cobbler Prince, The: 11 principals Synopsis Maroof, a good but poor cobbler in Cairo, is about to lose all to his sweetheart, Shardi, and her bullying brothers, Ahmed and Rashid. These two villains chase Maroof and his family, mother Zara and brother Wakim, until they escape by magic carpet, flying off to the kingdom of Sohatan. Unfortunately their pursuers follow, holding on to a loose thread! In Sohatan, the king is convinced that Maroof is a wealthy merchant awaiting a rich camel train, and therefore suitable for his daughter, princess Jasmeen, something the Vizier, Farouk, is against, as he wishes his son Samir to be the kings son-in-law. Discovered as a sham, Maroof and co run off, only to be assisted in their endeavours by Baz-A-Rah, an ancient female genie, and with everyone living happily ever after.
