Synopsis

A feast is traditionally prepared for Sultan Summa Bey’s birthday, unfortunately Yussaf the fisherman is not good at his trade and he may be the only one to provide nothing for the party, much to the disgust of his wife, Ammona. Only his children, Leila and Jaffa have faith in their father, and in a final attempt, he casts his net only to drag in an old bottle and be confronted by the Genie Bagdah. A rags to riches life is in order, but there is a fly in the ointment in the form of local bully Ached and his half-wit brothers, Mustaph and Aleeka. When they kidnap the Sultan’s son, Kaseem, and flee to the Black Mountains, Yussaf and co rush off in hot pursuit, guided by Brichem the camel driver and his talking camel, Wallis. Everyone is surprised to find Boudoah, an ancient witch in the mountains. With her aid, Kaseem is rescued but Achmed steals the bottle and a new pursuit back to the Sultan’s palace ensues to prevent further evil plots by Achmed in his quest for power.
