Synopsis

In order to obtain the magic lamp, Abanazar needs a simple, though honest, persons help, which is why his henchmen Wee-Keed and Hi-Wong are of no use in the venture! Aladdin becomes the obvious choice.

Son of Widow Twankey, owner of the local Supermarket and Wash-A-Rama, Aladdin and his simple brother, Wishee-Washee, set out to do Abanazar’s bidding in order to earn enough money to impress the Emperor Sang-Wun-Song, thus allowing Aladdin to marry the Princess Li-Chee and, hopefully, get Wishee-Washee together with the Princess’s handmaiden, Phee-Ling.

Me-Nas-Tee, the chief of Peking’s police force, and his constables Stopie, Lookee and lee-Sun can only look on with bewilderment as the Genie of the Lamp, discovered by Aladdin and his brother inside dragon Mountain, changes hands and fortunes.

Cast of 14 principals with chorus roles of Peking citizens, gatekeeper cave spirits, laundry workers and palace servants.
