Synopsis
Dandelion (Dan) Miller lands her daughter Millicent (Milly) in deep trouble when she says that Milly can turn straw into gold. King Roland believes every word and imprisons Milly in his palace to perform this miracle, much to prince Arthur’s dismay. Only intervention by strange woodland dweller Rumpelstiltskin prevents the truth from coming to light, but at a price.
Palace guards, Stricht and Sturn attempt to keep order under the direction of Alphonse, the wordy prime minister, but, as they are so inept, it falls to Dan and Peter Perfect, Arthur’s squire to save the day.
Rumplestiltskin’s simple cohorts, Tittle and Tattle help in the mayhem, whilst Queen Charlotte keeps a motherly eye on proceedings.
Cast of 12 principals plus chorus of mill workers, villagers and palace servants.
