Harriet a friend and neighbour and Fanny the lodger get involved with Martha’s plight and try to help. When the gruesome Landlord Boris Crabtree comes on the scene he ties Martha and Harriet up and threatens to have his evil way with them. What will happen to them and little Emily? Will Fanny be able to sneak away and bring help? There is a twist at the end but is it an expected one? This Melodrama is simple to stage with a single set and a few basic props.
