Synopsis

Wally and Tilly Flinders and their children Polly and Eddy are about to be evicted from their ‘Knick Knack Shop’ in Nurseryville by nasty moneylender Ernest Creep. He wishes to get his hand on hidden treasure, stashed away long ago by Polly Flinders great grandfather, Silas. Despite the suspicions of constables Clink and Clank, Creep enlists the help of local villains Sam and Wilma Slyp to burgle the shop in order to find the treasure and so prevent it from being found before the day of eviction, when the property and its entire contents will become his. Learning of the treasure, Tommy Tucker, Polly’s love, assists in the search, and the ghost of Silas becomes an unlikely ally in their quest. Bert Fankle, the town Beadle, helps Wally all he can, but his hands are tied by the law, and his fear of Creep’s hold over him! Scene 7 provides lots of business to make an exciting finish to the main story.

Cast of 12 principals and a chorus of children and townspeople.
