Synopsis
Princess Crystal receives several pleasant presents at her Christening, but also one full of spite and venom from Fairy Blackthorn, ignored by an administrative error from the invitation list. Fairy Thistledown can only partly negate the evil spell, and Crystal’s distraught parents, King Rudolph and Queen Natalia order the destruction of all spinning wheels in the Kingdom. Blackthorn enlists the help of fired palace servants Coshum and Fauhle to see her plan succeed, but Prince Stephen Goodheart and his squire Billie Bosker are aided by Thistledown to out do the evil fairy. Meantime nurse Martha Matterhorn and jester Pyekin help to raise the princess through childhood with fun and laughter being their main aims.
About 13 main characters with 5 guest fairies and a chorus of servants and evil forest creatures.
