Synopsis
All seems well in the land of King Jolly and Queen Merry, especially now as
they plan the christening of their long awaited baby, Princess Aurora.
Little do they know that outside in the garden lurk the wicked fairy Deadly
Nightshade and her addled aide Compost, who, having been missed off the
Christening Party List, plan to bring trouble and near tragedy to the Royal
Household. Fairy Snowdrop intervenes and instead of dying on her 16th
birthday, the Princess is condemned to sleep forever unless she is awakened
by a true lover’s kiss. Her stupid but loving Nanny Fanny, (ex. Royal Navy!)
Snobby Mr. Primm and all the Palace staff try to keep her safe, but the
fatal day arrives and the prophecy comes to pass.
Prince Nicholas, helped (or hindered) by Nanny Fanny, the Palace Page zany
Zipper and his daft girl-friend voluptuous Velcro, encounter dangers as they
travel from his homeland, through the Thorny Forest, to the Palace, to get
rid of Deadly Nightshade and save Aurora. Helped by Fairy Snowdrop he
overcomes Deadly’s evil powers, and saves the day!
