| This pantomime follows closely the traditional story of the wicked Queen, the Magic Mirror on the wall, a bewitched huntsman ordered to kill Snow White, friendly animals, a poisoned apple, a cottage in the woods full of gnomes, and finally a kiss from a passing Prince to round everything off nicely. Add also Dame Murgatroyd, her son Wot, and Lester the Jester, for all the ingredients you need for your next successful pantomime production.

Synopsis
Everyone loves Snow White, everyone that is except her nasty Step-Mother Queen Eldread. Lovely, bumbling King Hector married her after Snow White’s real mother died, and has regretted it ever since! It was OK until Snow White developed into a pretty young woman, and Queen Eldread’s Magic Mirror informed her that she was no longer the most beautiful in the land, Snow White was! Mrs. Murgatroyed, the landlady of the Hunt Hostelry, and her simple son Wot, plus Lester the court Jester, protect her from the Queen until things get REALLY NASTY!!. More help is needed in the form of The Wishing Well Fairy, seven adorable (?) Garden Gnomes, whose job is to protect the environment, by popping open the flower buds, and helping the birds build their nests, and of course, gorgeous Prince Rupert who falls in love with Snow White. Queen Eldread visits Wizard Blackheart in his lair beneath the castle to enlist his help in getting rid of Snow White, but he is getting past it now, and finds it difficult getting his spells right. Follow them all, from the Hunt Hostelry and the Palace, to the Wizards Lair, through the Wild Forest to the Gnomes’ Cottage and finally to The Palace Ballroom where all’s well that end’s well!
This Pantomime, written by an experienced Pantomime author and director, and based on the original story has some nice modern touches, with romance, laughter, slapstick, and audience participation in traditional panto style.

Specially written for amateur performance, it can be staged simply or as elaborately as required.
Production notes are included to help with staging this pantomime.
