2006
2006 marked a very sad year for Jasper Publishing. Within two months, Paul Alexander one of the original Authors from the early 1990’s and Jim Sperinck the founder of Jasper Publishing both passed away. They are both sorely missed.
Jasper Publishing is very grateful for the support received from all our Authors.
Inevitably, we have faced some difficult challenges. However, Jim was a very determined individual and his family continue to run the business in the spirit which he established, providing an opportunity to Authors who might not otherwise have the chance to be published and a service to the Amateur Drama community.
A special thank you goes out to Michael Buchanan-Smart, Doreen Moger, Eric Fowler, Ron Hutson, Anne Knight and Sandy Taylor who stepped in to review the backlog of new script submissions which had built up during Jim’s illness.
2007
We are very pleased to welcome several new Authors and announce a broad cross-section of New Publications.
March 2007 sees the launch of our new website, a project which Jim had seen in development and to which he had personally contributed.
Jasper Publishing continues to run as a family business serving the Amateur Drama community and we welcome your suggestions of how we can improve our website and our service to you.
